Betty O. Hepler, age 86, of Maumee, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Betty was born on February 7, 1926 in Toledo to Archibald and Edythe Boze ORourke. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1948. She married Clay P. Hepler on September 1, 1948. Betty was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, St. Lukes Hospital Auxiliary, Corey Road Garden Club, AAUW Honorary Life Member and NOVA Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, playing bridge, sewing, knitting and travelling. Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clay P. Hepler; daughters, Belinda Bob Kenyon and Carol Art Gibson; son, Clay W. Jodi Hepler; sister, Nancy Templeton; grandchildren, Robert and William Kenyon, Brian and Daniel Boggs, and Brooke and Christopher Hepler. She was preceded in death by her parents. There will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd. Perrysburg, OH 43551.
