Betty Jane Harsh

November 30, 1920 — August 11, 2008

Betty Jane Harsh, age 87, passed away, after a long illness, at her residence on Monday Aug. 11, 2008. The daughter of Harry and Selma Hall, she was born Nov. 30, 1920 in Toledo. She was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School. She worked at St. Lukes Hospital in the lab retiring in 1982. Betty was a member of the OES Palestine Chapter #51, Solo Club, the Eagles on Jackman, and the Polish dance club. She is survived by her sons, Denny Sharon Staerker, Bill Karen Mau, Larry Bobbie Mau; daughter, Cheryl Joe Inman; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Duane Hall, Dale Shirley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. where services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice. The family would like to thank Arbors of Sylvania and her friends who took care of Betty.
