Betty Ruth Greiger

Greiger Betty Ruth Betty Ruth Haynes-Greiger, age 87 of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Parkcliffe. Born in Toledo to Richard and Millie Mitchell, Betty graduated from Whitney Vocational High School. She worked in retail sales for Tiedtkes, Lamsons, LaSalles, and later Hudsons where she stayed for 20 years. Betty enjoyed bowling, dancing, and traveling with the International Fan Trailer Club. She loved bingo, tacos, and her Betty Boop collectibles. Betty was a member of St. Clement Parish for many years. Betty is survived by her son, Gregory Haynes. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Wilson Haynes; second husband, William R. Greiger; and daughter, Cynthia Shufelt. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 2-6:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave west of Corey Rd. where services will be held on Monday at 10:00am with Bill Roman officiating. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Toledo, OH 43613.
