Betty L. Goltz-Teneyck

Betty L. Goltz-Teneyck, 87, of Walbridge, died Sunday morning, May 15, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Betty was born May 15, 1929, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Robert and Evelyn L. (Bare) Webb. She was married on March 21, 1947, in Toledo to Kenneth Goltz and he preceded her in death July 31, 1971. Her second husband, Eugene Teneyck, whom she married in Oregon in September 2002, preceded her in death in 2003. She had worked for a medical supply company and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Northwood, where she was on the Prayer Shawl Committee and over the years had served on various other committees. Betty was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Surviving Betty are her children, Beth (George) Taynor of Perrysburg, Kathy (Al) Huebner of Toledo, Karen (Gary) Smith of Perrysburg, Gena Goltz-Peart of Toledo and Brian (Deb) Goltz of Stony Ridge; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Sarah) Webb of Tiffin and Jeanne (Wes) Welty of Westerville; and her beloved pet, Jasmine. Her parents, husbands, and sister, Georgianna Baron, preceded her in death. Visitation for Betty will be 2-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Northwood. Burial will take place in Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials for Betty be given to Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Rd., Northwood, OH 43619; or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
