Betty Lou Frost

Betty Lou Frost, age 80, passed away Sunday at Windhaven Eldercare in Temperance, MI. The daughter of Ray and Dorothy Hoffman, she was born April 30, 1930 in Toledo. She was a graduate of Whitney High School. She married Garth Gary Frost on Oct. 29, 1949. Betty worked for General Mills for 33 years before retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Fraternal order of Eagles and the General Mills Womens League. She enjoyed golf, but above all she was the ultimate caregiver to all. She tirelessly cared for her husband, her granddaughter and all her family with unconditional love. She is survived by her sons, Raymond Newtie and Roger Darlene Frost; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband in 1991. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 2-5 7-9 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave west of Corey Rd where services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM.
