Betty Irene Dotson

Betty Irene Dotson, age 92, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. She was born on April 15, 1928 to John Ezra and Sarah Frances (Barnes) Myers in Lakeview, Ohio. Betty was married to Charles Dotson from 1947-1956. Betty graduated from Stokes Rural High School. She was a clerk at a hardware store, and drycleaners. Betty was a beloved wife and mother. She loved gardening, walking, nature, and being a devoted woman of Faith. Betty was a member of Lighthouse Church in Toledo. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Raul) Gomez, Sue Weddle; grandchildren, Donald (Debbie) Bergum, James (Danielle) Bergum, Brandon Bergum, Ryan (Sydney) Gomez, Raquel (Christopher) Rock, Leslie (Tony) Ide, Corey Austin; great-grandchildren, Emilee Bergum, Isabelle and Gabriel Bergum, Hunter Bergum, Ava and Adilyn Ide; siblings, Freda Knight and Myron Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann Adams; siblings, Gerald, Dwight, Clyde, Glen, and Everett Myers. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
