Betty Bruner

Betty L. Bruner, age 84, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019.  She was born January 20, 1935 at the County Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. Betty was a graduate of Springfield High School and retired from AP Foods.  She loved to camp and travel, even visiting all 50 states as well as Canada and Mexico.  Her greatest enjoyment was traveling with her husband which included many cruises.  Betty was very involved with many camping associations and traveled frequently to participate in the United Methodist Church missionary work projects. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph S. Bruner, daughter, Gloria Shook, sister, Ruth Fowler.  She is survived by her loving sons; Michael (Debora) and Jeffery (Cynthia) Bruner; grandchildren, Stephanie Killam, Kyle Killam, Jennifer Sobocinski, Carolyn Mulholland, Jake Bruner, Josh Bruner and Jarett Bruner and great grandchildren; brother, Louis Fowler, and sister, Lucinda Holt. Friends and family may visit on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 12:00-2:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue (west of Corey) with service to follow.  Interment will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Walker Funeral Home to help offset the cost of services.
