Betty J. Boney

Betty J. Boney, age 93, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on April 14, 2022, at Manor of Perrysburg, surrounded by her family. Betty was a graduate of Wharton High School and lived her life as a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church for over 68 years where she served on the Alter Society. Betty was most known for always being a sweet and genuinely kind woman to everyone around her.

Betty J. Boney was born on August 15, 1928, the daughter of Ira and Bernice (Sheldon) Corbin. She married James A. Boney, and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2006.

Those surviving Betty includes her children; Joe (Sandee) Boney, Sally Zautner, and John Boney; son in law, Mike Hoffman; grandchildren, Dan (Alicia), Nathan (Brittany), Jason (Kandy), Julie (Gary), Jacque (TJ), Markie, and James; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Monica, Danielle, Andrew, Aydia, Annabelle, Sadie, Carter, Hudson, Sheldon, Miles, Annessa, and one great-great-grandchild, Grayson. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, James; one daughter, Mary Hoffman, and one grandson, Bryan.

Private family graveside services will be held at Fort Meigs Cemetery with Reverend Kishore Kottana officiating. Memorials donations in honor of Betty are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be made online to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
