Betty Jean Bohls

Betty Jean Bohls, 83, of Toledo, OH passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo on December 21, 1934 to Leo and Lillian (Boatman) Hartford and she married Francis C. Bohls on February 21, 1953 also in Toledo. Betty spent several years with First Presbyterian Church where she worked in the Day Care program. She belonged to the Maumee Valley Model T Club, along with her husband. Betty also enjoyed attending antique car shows and taking the cars for a drive. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Francis C. Bohls; children, Jean Maley and Joyce Bohls; grandchildren, Ronnie (Jen) Maley and Billie (Justin) Gray; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Maley, Max Maley and Athena Gray; and sister, Lillian (David) Antonacci. She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings. Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm in Neville-Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
