Betty R Barto

Betty Ruth Barto, age 81, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at her residence. She was born on February 12, 1934 in Talladega, Alabama to John and Cora Lee (Johns) Roberts. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was a homemaker who raised 9 children and many of their friends. Betty loved to crochet, knit, draw and cook, but most of all loved the company of her grandkids and great grandkids. Betty is survived by her husband, Jack; sister, Linda (Tom) Roberts; children, Steven (Gracie) Roberts, John (Belinda) Roberts Jack (Cyndi) Young, Edward (Tonya) Young, David Young, William Young, Richard (Vicki) Dionyssiou, Connie (Bunny) Montri, Deborah Young, Tracy (Mike) Harmon, Kelly Walczuk, Jamie Peterson, Andrew (Lisa) Barto, Donald Barto and Roger Barto; 30 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Neva Edwards and brothers, Charles and Bob Roberts. She was an Angel who saved my life. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
