Betty J. Barnett

Betty J. Barnett, 77, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, April 07, 2011 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. Betty was born in Leoma, TN, on June 15, 1933, the daughter of Nick and Martha Howard Smith. She was baptized at Mt. Zion Church of Christ in Leoma, TN. Betty was a homemaker, who enjoyed gardening in her earlier years. She loved cooking, flowers, concerts, flea markets and watching birds. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family. Betty will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Children: Tony E. Barnett, Roger Lee Barnett, Rita Barnett, Linda Bunker, Monica Barnett, Charlie Barnett and Glenda Kay Paul Jiminez. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Beverly Barnett and son: Benjamin H. Barnett. A Memorial service will be at 6:00PM, Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Betty may be given to Stein Hospice or the American Heart Association.
