MASON Bethany Elaine Bethany Elaine Mason, 24 was received into heaven on Thursday, November 4, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Toledo Hospital. She was born October 25, 1986 at Flower Hospital to Dave and Loni Mason. She learned to swim at the Greater Toledo YMCA and was a member of the South Toledo YMCA swim team. Beth was a 2005 graduate of Sylvania Southview High School where she excelled in academics and was a member of the National Honor Society, and played the cello in the school orchestra. She loved music and began playing in the 6th grade. She was thrilled to play for Yang Kun Song at the Toledo International Youth Orchestra. Beth was an alumni of the Toledo Junior Youth, the Toledo Youth Orchestra, and the Sylvania Community Orchestra. Most recently she was a student at Stautzenberger College studying Veterinary Technology. Bethanys true calling was to care for animals in need. Her passion for helping animals led her to volunteer for Cat Cuddlers- a group that provides love and attention to lost and stray cats, Paws and Whiskers, and SylvaniaVet. Caring for animals came natural to her and her big heart helped her to connect with them. She also enjoyed horseback riding and loved grooming horses. Left to cherish her memory are her brother and best friend, Matt, a student at Bowling Green State University; her loving parents, Dave and Loni; grandparents, Dave and Angie Mongan of Columbia, MD and Perry and Joan Mason of Topping, VA; aunt, Lyn Brian Kane; uncles, Dan Lisa Mason and Peter Lisa Mason; and cousins, Morgan and Delaney Kane, Rebecca and Benjamin Mason, and Cassy and Robert Mason.
