Bertha R. Rohloff, 93, of Ann Arbor, MI, formerly of Curtice, OH, died at Brookdale Ann Arbor in Michigan, Thursday, November 23, 2017. Bertha was born November 17, 1924, in Harris Township, OH, to Stanilaus and Minna (Seils) Dickman. On April 2, 1945, in Fremont, Ohio, she married Nelson F. Rohloff, and he preceded her in death December 13, 2011. She was a homemaker and had been an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa, Ohio, where she served on the Altar Rosary Society. During WWII Bertha worked at Erie Ordnance in Port Clinton. She also worked at Chippawa Golf Course during the summers. At one time she managed the GNC store at the Woodville Mall. She was a member of the Toledo Museum of Art. Her proudest accomplishments were cooking, sewing and taking great care of her home and family. Bertha is survived by her children: Mary Lynn (Michael) Latour of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Susan (William) Lewis of Ann Arbor, Bradley Rohloff of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Jonathan (Jennifer) Rohloff of Curtice and Elizabeth Rohloff of Portland, OR; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James (Shirley) L. Dickman of Zanesville, OH, and sister, Grace Schelb of Lockhart, TX. Her parents, husband and siblings, Beatrice Gargrave, Vernon Dickman and Cyril Dickman, preceded her in death. Visitation for Bertha will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 Main St., Genoa, OH 43430; burial will follow in Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, OH. The family has suggested memorials for Bertha to go to the church.
