Bernice Frances Wilhelm

Bernice F. Wilhelm, age 77, of Toledo, OH passed peacefully on Christmas Eve at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Clifford and Pearl Frey on July 28, 1939 in Newport, MI. Bernice was a hairdresser for 30 years. She enjoyed her winters in Florida with her husband, Frank. Bernice was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She will be remembered most for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Frank H. Wilhelm; children, Linda (Chuck) Gekle, Carol Wilhelm, Shelly (Ted) Bender, Renee Lutz; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a brother, Donald (Bev) Frey. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Leona Foster, Marian Fountain, Marie Frey and brother Raymond Frey. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) with a sharing of memories at 7:00 PM.
