Bernice Margaret Langenderfer

Bernice M. Langenderfer age 95 of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in her home. Bernice was born in Toledo, OH on September 12, 1919 to Frank P. and Minnie (Gladieux) Baker. She was a graduate of Waite High School and proud to have attended her 75th class reunion. Bernice was also a graduate of Mercy School of Nursing and was an RN during WWII. After the war, she dedicated her life to raising her family. Bernice was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She was a past member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Providence and its Rosary and Altar Society. Bernice had a strong Catholic Faith and was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was very patriotic and loved her country and Toledo. Bernices greatest joy was spending time with her family and playing euchre. She is survived by her children, William (Andrea) Langenderfer DDS, Jeanne M. (Carl) Boyd, Norman (Shandon) Langenderfer, Edward Langenderfer, Mary Jo (James) Vollmar; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; Also surviving are sisters, Dolores Eberly, Eileen Trawinski and sister in-law, Rita Baker. In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Langenderfer; sisters, Thelma Baker, Virginia Dunn; twin brother, Bernard Baker and brother, James Baker. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 3-8 pm with the Rosary being recited at 7:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:00 am St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Providence.
