Bernice Irene Henkel

Bernice Irene Henkel, age 85, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence. The daughter of Bevan and Dorothy Paddon, she was born March 12, 1936 in St. Thomas, Ontario. Bernice married John William Henkel May 21, 1961 in Detroit, MI. She worked for the Law firm of Marshall Melhorn. Bernice loved cats and dogs. She enjoyed cross stitch, knitting and gardening. She is survived by, step-son, John (Jodie) and their sons John & Corey; sister, Beverly Burnham, Mary Paddon; nephew, Bevan; niece, Dorothy, Cathy and Mary Jane. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; sister, Sharon Cyre; niece, Judy. There will be no visitation or services. Bernice and her husband will be buried at Elmdale Cemetery, St. Thomas, Ontario.
