Bernice D. Hartman

Bernice D. Hartman, 101, of Holland, OH passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 in the Spring Meadows Extended Care Facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 24, 1906 in Axtel, OH to Christian and Fanny Champney Kropf. Bernice was a Teacher at Holland Elementary for many years. She was a member of Living Faith United Methodist. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Bernice will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The widow of George Hartman who passed away April 2001, Bernice is survived by her loving family; daughters, Sue Reginald Moxley of Gross Pointe Woods, MI and Karen Frank Sobieralski of Monroe, MI; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Bernice was preceded in death by her son, Daniel L. Hartman and great grandson, Nicholas Sobieralski. Visitation and services were private. The family would like to thank Spring Meadows Extended Care Facility and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care of Bernice.
