Bernadine Reitael

Bernadine Reitzel, 80, of Oak Harbor, formerly of Genoa, died Sunday afternoon, December 14, 2014, at Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. Bernadine was born August 5, 1934, in McCutchenville, Ohio, to Edward and Hilda (Winkleman) Reinhart. On December 22, 1952, in St. Nicholas Parish (Frenchtown), New Riegel, Ohio, she married Lyle C. Reitzel, who preceded her in death in 1999. Bernadine enjoyed reading and going to church and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa. She is survived by her children: Angie (Charles) White, John (Linda) Reitzel and Donald (Sandy) Reitzel, all of Genoa, Terry (Bob) Warns of Perrysburg, Bob (Cheryl) Reitzel of Rossford, Sue (Mark) Kutz of Florida, Joan (Brad) Fritsch of Clay Center, and Mary (Bryan) Hecker of Genoa; 27 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and brother, Lawrence (Jean) Reinhart of Luckey. Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Leona Reinhart, Margaret Nichols and Mary Peters, and brothers, Gene Reinhart and Wendelin Reinhart. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 Main St., Genoa, with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
