Bernadine Ludwig

Bernadine M. Ludwig age 93 of Toledo passed away Sunday December 16, 2012 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born October 6, 1919 in Oak Harbor, Ohio to Grover and Zlphia Morse Deal. A 1939 graduate of Scott High School, she worked for General Mills for 12 years, retiring in 1982. She enjoyed her family, ceramics, needlepoint, crocheting and reading. She also enjoyed camping and travelling with her husband. The widow of Maurice Wayne Ludwig, she was also preceded in death by her sister Ruth Krupp. She is survived by her sons Wayne Sandy and Tom Sue Ludwig; grandchildren Brian Kim Ludwig, Lorraine Kevin Gritten and Rushel Carper; great grandchildren Christopher Ludwig, Alyssa Carper, Charissa Helm, Branden Ludwig, Brandon Rahman and Cameron Ludwig; great-great grandson Carson Ludwig; sister Charlotte Fox; brothers Vaughn, David and Gary Deal; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Wednesday from 3-8 PM where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
