Beatrice Ann Kwapich

Beatrice Ann Kwapich, age 83, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her family and closest friends. She was born on July 19, 1933, in Toledo, Ohio to Paul and Mary (Samelak) Ptaszynski. She married Teodore (Ted) Kwapich on February 12, 1955, and they shared 59 wonderful years together prior to his death in 2014. She was employed by Associated Truck Lines and the City of Toledo in the water department; retiring in 1995 to spend more time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was an avid craft maker, loved sewing, reading and enjoying the company of her family and dear friends. Beatrice is survived by her two sons, Paul (Cindy) and Todd (Jeannette) and grandchildren; Justin, Dallas, Dylan and Emely. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Teodore; sisters, Lillian Nimigean, Emily Pruss and Virginia Andrzejewski; and brothers, Albin Yankee and Daniel Ptaszynski. The family will receive guests at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623 on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, Ohio 43623.
