Beatrice E. Cseplo

Beatrice E. Cseplo, 85, of Perrysburg, went home on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on October 22, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert and Mary Dianiska. She married William C. Cseplo on October 21, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio. After raising their family in Madeira, Ohio, Bill and Bea retired to New Bern, North Carolina in 1983 where they thoroughly enjoyed living in Fairfield Harbour Retirement Community. Bill and Bea moved to Perrysburg, Ohio in 1995. Beatrice received an Associate’s degree from The University of Cincinnati in 1974. She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church. Beatrice was a volunteer and a supporter of the Way Public Library as well as an active member of the Judges Guild of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, judging county fairs and the Ohio State Fair. She served on various boards for community service and charities. She enjoyed traveling, specifically to Europe where she toured her family homelands including, Hungary and Germany. She was an excellent cook and entertainer who opened her home to friends and family. Beatrice is survived by her loving children, Margaret M. (Leslie) Belch of Sedona, AZ, and William P. “Bill” (Carolyn) Cseplo of Dublin, OH; son-in-law, David Sloan of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Samantha (Andy) Sullivan, Celeste (Kyle) Bergin, Mandy (Jim) Dolgoff, Katie (Grant) Schwalbe, Bill (Jennifer) Cseplo and Lucas (Vivian) Belch; eight great-grandchildren and many special friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, William, her daughter, Patricia A. Sloan and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Ave., Perrysburg, Ohio with Pastor Timothy Philabaum officiating. Private burial will be at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the organ fund at Zoar Lutheran Church.
