Barry Wayne Millinger

Barry Wayne Millinger, 52, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born on December 16, 1968 in Port Clinton, the son of the late Douglas and Shirley (Colston) Millinger, Sr. Barry graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1987, and then worked with his Dad and brother, Doug, as a carpenter for many years. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union in Fremont, Ohio; member of St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton; and member of the Nugents Canal Yacht Club. He enjoyed playing pool, going camping, fishing on Lake Erie, and operating his snow plowing business. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his mother and taking care of her up to her recent death in January 2021. Survivors include his sister, Cheryl (Thomas) Stiefel, of Randleman, North Carolina; brothers, Terry (Patty) Millinger of Dacula, Georgia, and Douglas Jr. (Linda) Millinger, of Catawba Island, Ohio; nieces, Stacey (Bert) Chabannes, Jennifer Millinger, Stephanie (Kyle) Flemish, Haley (Jacob) Smiley; nephews, Michael (Cari) Millinger, Kyle (Tristan) Millinger; 13 great nieces and nephews; cousins; and niece in law, Kathleen Stiefel. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and nephew, Christopher Stiefel. There will be no visitation or services as cremation has taken place.
