Barrett C. Kiff, 83, of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in the Lakes of Monclova surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 13, 1933 in Toledo to Barrett and Mary Kiff. He married Cecelia Granata on July 7, 1951 in Toledo and they were happily married for 57 years. Barrett attended Macomber High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marines during the Korean War. Prior and during his time in the service Barrett was a member of Golden Gloves Boxing. He also served as Captain of the Marine Corp Boxing Team in Quantico. After his time in the service he went on to serve his community as a fireman for the city of Toledo for over 28 years, retiring in 1984. Barrett enjoyed traveling and he was also an avid bowler. He was a loving, devoted husband and caregiver to his wife, Cecelia, for many years, who precedes him in death. Barrett is survived by his loving children, Steve (Cindy) Kiff, Cheryl (Ken) Jackson and Lisa (Wally) Brightbill; grandchildren, Stacy, Shelly, Steven, Brian, Eric and Tony; great grandchildren, Aislinn, Malia, Alexis, Eva, Luke, Brynn, Ari, Alex and Logan and their families. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 10:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH. (419-865-8879) with the Firemen’s Last Alarm service to begin at 2:00 P.M. with funeral services to follow. Burial will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park with Military Honors.
