Barbara J. White

Barbara J. White, 65, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Sunday, September 20, 2009 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 17, 1944 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Russell and Irene Bergman Hofacker. On September 8, 1962 she married Raymond P. White and he survives. Barb worked as a homemaker. She was a member of the David W. Leonard Aerie #2295 and the V.F.W. Homer D. Gardner Post #2480, both of Port Clinton, OH. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving husband of 47 years: Raymond P. White of Port Clinton, OH: Sons: David Lisa White, Michael Laura White and Chuck Norma White all of Port Clinton, OH; Daughter: Tammy Dennis Gawlik of Tennessee; Mother: Irene Hofacker; 13 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters: Sharon Fields and Rebecca Shortridge and Brother: David Hofacker. Barbara was preceded in death by her father: Russell Hofacker, sisters: Lavonne Silverwood and Debra Grimm. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or services.
