Barbara Ann Switzer

Barbara Ann Switzer age 68 of Maumee, OH passed away on Monday April 5, 2010 at St. Lukes Hospital. Barbara was born in Cambridge, OH on October 7, 1941 to Harry W. and Margaret Lucille Proctor Penn. A 1959 graduate of Cambridge High School, Barbara was a Mortgage Underwriter for Charter One Bank until her retirement in 1999. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Richard C. Switzer; daughters, Lori Kent Bragg, Jennifer John Armstrong, Melanie Switzer; grandchildren, Jessica Brandon White, Sara Armstrong, Matthew Armstrong, Jacob Bortell, Jenna Bortell, Gryphon Barnes and Julia Bortell; aunt, Othella Smith and her niece, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are her beloved kitties, Sadie, Bo and Poster. She was preceded in death by her Parents and sister, Judy Parrish. Memorial contributions may be made to Toledo Humane Society or the Toledo Zoo. The family would like to thank the staff at Odyssey Hospice for the exceptional care Barb received.
