Barbara K. Ault Sattler

Barbara K. (Ault) Sattler, 86, of Perrysburg, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at The Waterford at Levis Commons, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 12, 1932 in Perrysburg to William C. and Lucy M. (Kiefer) Ault. Barbara married Robert “RJ” Sattler on June 23, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a lifelong member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where she was active in the Altar Sodality. She was a volunteer and auxiliary member at St. Luke’s Hospital. Barbara was also a member of the New Century Club in Perrysburg and the Red Hat Society. Barbara is survived by her children, Douglas (Mary Pat) Sattler, Shelley (Dave) Brossia, Katie (Mike) Harlow; grandchildren, Douglas (Jess) Sattler, Jr., Nick (Megan) Sattler, Greg (Sam) Sattler, Bethany Sattler, Erin (Ben) Gates, Emily (fiancé, Patrick) Harlow, Alli (Erik) Bork; and great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Douglas III, Lizzy, Samantha, Luke, and Sawyer Sattler, and Corbin and Decker Gates; and her beloved dog Sadie. Along with her husband, Robert, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, John Ault; and parents. Friends will be received on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133). Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 9:45 a.m., with a Funeral Mass taking place at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, OH. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. The family offers a heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Waterford at Levis Commons for their compassionate care to Barbara and their comfort and support to the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Church, Southern Care Hospice, or to the Memorial Fund at Waterford at Levis Commons.
