Barbara Jane Sandefur

Babrara Sandefur, 76, of Port Clinton and formerly of El Cajon, CA passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Riverview Heathcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on July 31, 1935 in Rochester, NY the daughter of the late Elizabeth Rogers and Samuel Allen. Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: Children: Russell Sandefur, Elizabeth Sandefur, Deborah Ed Verkin; Grandchildren: JeremySandefur, Kimberly Dignan, Monica Sandefur, Marla Michalsen, Adam Verkin, Tyler Verkin, Marissa Verkin and Trey Verkin; Great Grandchildren: Taylor Dignan, Aubree Verkin, Nolan Verkin, and Kaelyn Michalsen; and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and Husband Marion A Sandefur. A Memorial service will be at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Barbara may be given to Ottawa County Humane Society. Cremation has taken place under the direct care of Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton.
