Barbara Ryan

Barbara Ryan, age 83, of Toledo, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 in Hickory Ridge Care Center, Temperance, Michigan. She was born November 19, 1925 in Los Angeles, California to Charles and Geraldine Conner. An avid seamstress, Barbara also enjoyed music but her main focus in her life was her Savior, Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Martin and brother, Robert E. Conner, Barbara is survived by her husband, Dan; son, Patrick Ryan; daughters, Charlotte Daniel Mearns and Marjorie Mark Bauman; grandchildren, Kristie Tony Gracia, Gordon Lauren and Martha Mearns, Jonathan, Anna and Jessica Martin, Philip Holly Bauman, Mariann Shane Hillard and Michael Jennifer and Elaine Bauman; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday from 7 to 9 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania, west of Corey Rd. where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 am.
