Barbara R. Phillips

Barbara R. Phillips, age 83 of Toledo passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Barbara was born in Toledo, OH on January 13, 1929 to Robert and Leona Radsick Boyle. She married Donald L. Phillips on January 28, 1950 and they enjoyed 61 years together. Don preceded her in death on December 3, 2011. She was employed as a switchboard operator at Owens Illinois and the former Ohio Bell. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. She also enjoyed supporting her husband Don and her son Kenneth in their political careers. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Rebecca L. David Bolton; sons, Michael T. Susan, Kenneth W. Tammy esq. and Thomas P.; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; brother in-law, Carl Dorothy Phillips and many special friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Donald, she was also preceded in death by her son, Robert L. Phillips; granddaughter, Nicole; sister, Connie Morrissey and brother, James Boyle. Friends and family may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee, on Thursday April 12, 2012 from 3-8 pm where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am.
