Barbara Jean Olszewski

Barbara Jean Olszewski, age 71, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born June 2, 1940 in Toledo to Aloysius and Cecelia Nadolny Guziolek. Barb was employed as an assembler for many years for International Assemblex. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Barb will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Barb is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Gerald Jerry Olszewski, who she married November 23, 1957; sons, Robert Gigi Olszewski, Kevin Cathy Olszewski, Gerald Olszewski, Jr and James Dawn Olszewski; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Aloysius Angie Guziolek; and sisters, Patricia Pacynski and Phyllis Michael Pence. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Buzynski and brother-in-law, Rollie Pacynski. Family and friends may visit Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 2-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin Friday, July 8, 2011 at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, Maumee.
