Barbara Sue Niezgoda

Barbara Sue Niezgoda, 70, of Walbridge, Ohio died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born January 26, 1951, in Toledo, OH. Surviving are her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Albert "Tiny" LaCourse; her children, Helen "Dolly" Hisle (Steve), Richard LaCourse (Sarah), Sheila Kopp, and Shawn LaCourse (Jamie); grandchildren, Cody, Aaron, Matt, Cierra Jacob, Noah, Reese, Chrystal, Carrie, and Hunter; her sisters Jolee, Sue, and Betty Lu; 3 great grandchildren; as well as a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Mary Slater; step-parents, Jim and Frieda Haas; her sister, Trudy; brothers, Chester and David; and Son-in-Law, Mark Kopp. Visitation will be from 2-8PM Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Walker Funeral Home – Oregon Chapel (3500 Navarre Ave. Oregon, OH 43616), where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 beginning at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family as this was a sudden death.
