Barbara Ruth Neville, age 85, of Toledo, Ohio died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Ebeid Hospice on the campus of Flower Hospital. Barb was born August 20, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to Erwin E. and Violet D. (Muswick) Gosda and on July 7, 1945 she married Raymond “Ray” C. Neville. In 1953, Barbara and her husband Ray opened Neville Funeral Home and Ambulance Service. The business flourished and became a landmark in the Reynolds Corners community. Recognizing a need in the Holland area, they opened their Southwest Chapel in 1976. Barbara was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. She enjoyed traveling all around the world with her husband and their many friends. Barb was very proud of her husband, her family and thoroughly loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Ray C. Neville; daughter, Linda L. Neville; sons, Gale R. (Molly) Neville and Kenneth A. Neville; grandchildren, Heidi Herbster, Randy Neville, Robin Hennessey as well as Carley and Thomas Grasberger; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Paul Gosda; sister, Karen Fulkert. Barabara was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Violet; daughter, Janet E. Grasberger as well as her brother, Bud Gosda. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or to Ebeid Hospice Foundation.
