Barbara Ann Miller Murray

Barbara Ann Murray, 83, of Leymone, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital. She was born on August 13, 1934 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania to Clyde and Anna (Baker) Miller. She married Ronald E. Murray and together they enjoyed 45 years of marriage before his death in 1999. Barbara retired from Riverside Hospital after 30 years of employment as a communications supervisor. She was an avid golfer and loved to travel with her husband. Barbara enjoyed being with her family. Barbara is survived by her loving children and their families; Debbie (Larry) Gugle and sons, Larry II and Craig; Peggy Vertz and daughter, Jamie; Ronald E. (Sherri) Murray II and children, Kelsey, Gina and Greg; Colleen (Tom) Miller and daughters, Linzie and Leah; and Emerson (Nana) Murray; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Jean Wilson; special nephew, Rick Cunningham; brother-in-law, James Cunningham; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by many siblings and son-in-law, Jon Vertz. Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
