Barbara M Schmidt Luebke

Barbara “Barb” M. (Schmidt) Luebke, 73, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on September 21, 1944, in Appleton, WI. to Victor P. and Elizabeth C. (Kamps) Schmidt. Barb received her bachelor’s degree from Edgewood College of the Sacred Heart in Madison, WI. in 1967. She was a Certified Clinical Research Associate for Roche prior to her retirement. Barb was a faithful member of St. Rose Catholic Church where she was a lector and a member of the choir. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Barb is survived by her son, Stefan R. (Cathy) Luebke of Indianapolis, IN.; daughter, Rebecca L. (Brian) Geffe of Perrysburg, OH.; grandchildren, Ava and Drew Geffe; sister, Margaret “Peg” E. Pitzen of Caldwell, ID; brother, Paul R. (Bonnie) Schmidt of Sun Prairie, WI; many loving nieces and nephews; and beloved golden retrievers. Barb is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Daniel. A memorial service for Barb will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 at 10:30 A.M.
