Barbara Jo Locker

Barbara Jo Locker, age 76, of Toledo, died December 21, 2021, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born July 25, 1945, in Toledo to the late John and Josephine (Taylor) Blackwell. She married Gary John Locker in 1971 and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2016. She was also preceded in death by grandparents, John and Olive (Hill) Blackwell of Salem, VA and Walter and Gertrude (Leffler) Taylor of Lima, OH; great grandparents, William and Mary (Overstreet) Blackwell of Floyd, VA, Peter and Nannie (Sweeney) Hill, Frank and Emma (Iiams) Taylor, and John and Delilah (Snider) Leffler. Barbara worked at various times as a bookkeeper but spent most her time raising her daughter and helping to care for her grandson. She enjoyed doing genealogy, contributing data for the internet, including her own page. It had been her ambition to visit where all her ancestors had lived. Surviving is her daughter, Amy Jo (Timothy John) Arthur and grandson, Samuel Joseph Arthur. Private interment will take place at Toledo Memorial Park.
