Barbara Juhasz

August 6, 1948 — July 20, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce that Barbara Ann Juhasz, born on August 6th, 1948, passed away unexpectedly on July 20th, 2021. Barb attended elementary school at St. Stephen’s Catholic School and graduated from Waite High School in 1966, working part time at the Birmingham branch of Toledo/Lucas County Library. She continued her employment at the library full time until transferring to nursing school, graduating from Mercy School of Nursing with her RN degree. After graduating from nursing school, she spent many years working at Mercy Hospital in both intensive care and the emergency room. She then transferred to St. Charles Hospital, continuing her kindness, compassion and excellent care that touched so many patients’ lives. She retired in 2010. Prior to her retirement, she indulged her passion for travel, visiting Alaska, China, New Zealand, Australia and the Fiji Islands, enjoying those trips with her beloved mom, Helen Juhasz. Upon retirement, she spent time going to plays, sightseeing and spending time with family. Barb was an avid reader and spent many happy hours with trips to the bookstore, finding a new treasure. Barb is survived by her three brothers Robert (Janice) Juhasz, Charles (Yvonne) Juhasz and James (Penny) Juhasz. She is also survived by nieces, Jenny (Michael) Lobbia, Theresa Hanna, Michelle Good, Jade (Adam) McIntosh, Kayla (Adam) Wright and Alexandria Miracola; and nephews, James Arnold and Justin Miracola. Great nieces surviving Barb are Alison Lobbia, Addison Hanna, Isabel Hanna, Ashley Juhasz, Ivy Wright, Cedie Miracola and Brookie Miracola. Great nephews surviving her are Andrew Lobbia, Matt McIntosh, Dyllan Miracola and Brayden Miracola. She leaves behind many cousins and good friends who loved and cherished her. Barb was a beautiful soul with a delightful sense of humor. She had a profound effect on every life she touched and all of us are better people for knowing her. God blessed each and every one of us with the sparkle that was Barb, and we will be forever grateful and blessed. Always Remembered. Forever Loved. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, any donations be made to The American Heart Association.
