Barbara A Guild

Barbara A. Guild, age 77, of Maumee, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born August 2, 1933 in Toledo to Alvin and Helen Bierley Rady. Barbara was employed as a Tax Preparer for H & R Block for over 20 years, retiring in 2001. She loved to bowl and bowled on a Wednesday morning league at Southwyck Lanes for over 40 years. Barbara had a trailer at Shady Shores Campground on Lake Erie and enjoyed fishing, boating and greeting everyone that came into the campground. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Maumee and also enjoyed traveling, but the greatest love of her life was her great grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her loving daughter, Karen Steven Owens; granddaughters, Kristi Chad Biddle and Kim Sean Meloche; great grandchildren, Brenden Biddle, Faith Biddle, Cody Biddle, Justin Meloche and Kaitlyn Meloche; and sister, Marilyn Jack Haskins. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 2-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:00 am.
