Barbara Ann HuffmanEvearitt, age 82, of Toledo, passed away on January 14, 2009. Ann was born on May 12, 1926 To Glen and Evajeanne Huffman. She was a graduate of Devilbiss High School and The University of Toledo. During her lifetime, she worked in several different banks in Toledo and Columbus, Ohio. She made a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother and a special Auntie to many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Ann was a Phi Gamma member, 50 year member of Eastern Star and for many years a member of First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo. Ann was a person who lived her faith. She always kept in touch with her family and friends by sending out hundreds of greeting cards each year. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Larry; her parents, Glen and Evajeanne Huffman; her brother, Bob Huffman and her nephew, Charles Chip Huffman. She is survived by her two sons, Larry Bonnie and Tom Julie; five grandchildren, Adam, Lisa Kyle, April Sean, Seth Theresa, Katie Brandon; and 12 great grandchildren with one more on the way. She is, also, survived by her brother, Richard Marcy Huffman; sisters-in-law, Lois Huffman and Vivian Decker and brothers-in-law, Jerry Cory Evearitt, Al Martens and Bob Adeline Martens and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Anns family wants to thank all the people at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek for their wonderful care and friendship for the past 2 years. It truly is a family at Wolf Creek. Thank you. The family will receive guests from 2 to 9 pm on Sunday at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd.. Funeral services will be on Monday at 10 am at the First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo, 6520 Pilliod Rd., Holland, Ohio. Interment will be at Toledo Memorial Park. Any tributes may be in the form of contributions to the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo.
