Barbara J. Cover

Barbara J. Cover, 87, of Oak Harbor, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born on September 19, 1922 in Los Angeles, CA to James and Louise Brown Parrish. On May 26, 1951 in Perrysburg, OH she married Woodrow E. Cover, and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1975. Barbara worked as a computer programmer for the Erie Army Depot and the Army Tank Automotive Command, retiring in 1974. She and her husband enjoyed spending their winters in Florida. Barbara was a member of the Moose Lodge #1610, Port Clinton, enjoyed flowers, and loved to cook. Barbara is survived by her son: Richard Dorothy Cover of Oak Harbor, grandchildren: Julie, Chris, Jean, and Nichole, 9 great grandchildren, and son-in-law: Roger Massie of Port Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter: Nancy Massie. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the funeral home by Pastor David Tinker. Interment will be in Rusha Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
