Barbara Lynn Costic

Barbara L. Costic, 53, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 30, 1962 to George and Donna Costic. Barb graduated from Bowsher High School in 1980 and went on to the University of Toledo where she received Bachelor Degrees in both Business and Education. She went into teaching and then earned a Masters Degree in Education at Bowling Green State University. Barb taught Special Education in the Toledo Public School system for 25 years. She loved her kids and even tutored after school for many years. Her son, Joe was the love of her life and she loved going to all the sports events he played in, but especially enjoyed being a hockey mom. She loved people and always had a part time job tending bar somewhere. As much as she loved people, she loved her pets as well. Barb had dogs, cats, and even a bird over the years. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by her son, Joseph Costic Moore; parents, George and Donna (Clausen) Costic; brother, George (Kathy) Costic; Brent Moore and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
