Barbara Jean Coates

Barbara Jean Coates age 72 of Sylvania Ohio died Friday July 23, 2010 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Sylvania May 1, 1938 to Thomas and Ruth Futrell. She was a faithful Jehovah Witness for over 50 years, she enjoyed traveling, singing and expressing her bible based hope for the future with others; Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brother Thomas Futrell; and son Gary Thomas Coates. Surviving is her husband of 55 years John Coates, Jr.; sons Ronald Leona Coates, Daniel Denise Coates, and Peter Coates; daughters Johnna John Abron and Christine Coates; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters Delores Isaac, Dorothy Louis Randall and Ruth Allen. There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held Monday at 11 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses 139 Richards Rd. Toledo, Ohio.
