Barbara Jean Barnes

BARBARA JEAN (HAGEMEYER) BARNES Barbara Jean (Hagemeyer) Barnes, 81, of Perrysburg, passed away June 18, 2018 at Kingston of Perrysburg. Barbara was born December 29, 1936 in Luckey, Ohio to Jerome and Glena (Stabler) Hagemeyer. She married Jeffrey L. Barnes on August 28, 1996. Barbara was a bus driver for the Wood County Committee on Aging. She collected dolls, enjoyed her flowers, ice cream and her dogs. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Jeff; children, Kirk (Carol) Hintz, Leslie Robinette, Chandra (Jason) Whitman; grandchildren, Emily Ilene Jean Whitman, Elizabeth Renee Shawn and Elliana Viola Marie Whitman; step-children, Matt (Linda) Barnes, Michael (Lisa) Barnes, Rollie (Jami) Barnes, multiple step-grandchildren and two half brothers, George and Denny Hagemeyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jerome and sister, Leona. Services for Barbara will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
