Barbara Anne Mcgee

Barbara Anne McGee, 87, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on March 7, 1934 in Rossford, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys (Scott) Mahler. On July 3, 1954 she married the love of her life, James E. McGee and he survives. Barb previously worked as an assembly worker at the former Phillips Company (Philco) in Sandusky, and she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Port Clinton. She was beautiful, kind, hardworking, and especially enjoyed family time. She was a great cook, and loved to be outside gardening, mowing, and pulling weeds. She loved all animals, especially her kitty, “Puddy”. She was very much loved and cherished by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Jim; children, James McGee, Sherry (Joseph) Garcia, Tim McGee, Patrick McGee, Debra (Donald) Hare, Daniel (Erin) McGee; grandchildren, Kirby Overmyer, Nikki Johnson, Robert Garcia, Shannon Garcia, Sean Patrick McGee, Emily McGee, Katy McGee, James Hare, Joshua Hare, Anne Merrie Hare, Meara McGee, Aislinn McGee, Cavan McGee; Fifteen great-grandchildren; and One great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Melissa Dukeshire. Visitation will be held at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 10 am until Funeral Services at 12 pm with Fr. Jonathan Wight officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
