Austin Christopher Wanless

Austin Christopher Wanless, Chickenhawk, 18, of Toledo, Ohio was tragically taken from the world May 10, 2017. Austin was born June 9, 1998. He was a graduate of Whitmer High School and current employee of Faurecia Exhaust Systems. Austin was a kindhearted individual, loved by many. An avid sports fan, Austin was always cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the New England Patriot and the Cleveland Indians. Austin brought joy, laughter and love to every life he touched. He will be missed deeply by many. Austin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Yates; great grandmother, Mariam Hill Nanny cousin, Melvin Leo Yates; and grandfather Larry Snow. He is survived by his father, Jason Wanless; mother, Sara (Brian) Snow; grandparents, Larry and Judy Wanless, Jeri Yates and Pat Snow; four siblings, Tre, Justin, Jake, and Logan Snow; uncles and aunts, Todd (Cathy) Yates and their children Todd Jr. (Nikki) and Aaron Yates; Johnny (Katie) Yates and their children Hunter, Wyatt and Conner Yates; Larry (Jenni) Wanless and their children Tyler Wanless and Taylor Riebesehl; Jeff (Michelle) Snow and their children Brianna and Kaitlyn Snow; Kelley Snow and her children Zachary, Dominik, Donavan Bermejo and Westley Snow. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 2-9 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave (west of Corey Rd). Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Northwest Baptist Church 3906 W. Alexis Rd #L Toledo, Oh 43623. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
