Austin Lee Robbins

Austin Lee Robbins Infant son of Brittany and Heather (Hug) Robbins, passed away in his parents’ arms at Promedica Toledo Hospital on September 23, 2015 after struggling with a bacterial infection. After two days of fighting, he went peacefully. During his brief time on earth he enjoyed holding hands with his parents, having his head massaged and listening to his favorite book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. From punches to the ribs from within, he was a born fighter which led to the nickname “Rocky”. Survivors include grandparents: Jeff and Pam Robbins, Christine Cromwell, Larry and (Diana) Hug; aunts and uncles: Megan and (Jason) Helman, Jason Robbins, Courtney Robbins, Steve Hug, Jennifer and (Roger) Kizer, Adam and (Whitney) Hug; and cousins: Matthew and Elise Helman, Danielle and (Keith) Werner, Alex Kizer, Tanner Cooper, Ava and Liam Hug. Preceding him in death includes his grandfather Scott Cromwell. Visitations will be held at the Walker Funeral Home Sylvania Township on Sunday, September 27th from 2-6 PM. As an expression of sympathy, the family has designated memorial contributions be made to Promedica Toledo Children’s Hospital Neonatal ICU.
