Aurora Correa Saldana

SALDAA AURORA CORREA Aurora Correa Saldaa age 89, of Maumee died Friday March 21, 2008 at The University of Toledo Medical Center. Aurora was born in Brownsville, TX on November 9, 1918 to Federico and Maria Gomez. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Maumee. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her children, Betty Carmen Ciancone, Roberto Sylvia Gomez-Cortez, Baldemar Cindy Saldaa Jr., Norma Darryl Potik Saldaa, Benjamin Linda Saldaa, Sylvia Myles Washburn and Belinda Daniel DiTieri. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren and special friends, Carmen and Maria Vargas. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee, on Monday from 3-8 pm where services will begin on Tuesday at 10:00 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 at St. Joseph Church, Maumee Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The rosary will be recited on Monday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
