Audrey F. Wolf

Audrey F. Wolf, 80, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening, June 30, 2012, in Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. Audrey was born September 27, 1931, in Curtice, Ohio, to Carl and Myrtle DeCant Vogelpohl. On August 2, 1952, in St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Mominee Town, Ohio, she married Wade Ike W. Wolf, who preceded her in death July 31, 1994. Audrey was a homemaker, whose faith and family were of the utmost importance to her all of her life. She was a caregiver for her husband for many years, through his illness until his death in 1994. She worked on the farm with her husband during their married life and enjoyed gardening both vegetables and flowers. Audrey was a faithful member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Oregon, Ohio. She is survived by her family: daughters, Diane R. Bob Kapp of Curtice, Cheryl L. Mike Hauter, of Oakwood, OH, Beth M. Randy Luckey of Woodville, and Karen S. Bruce Traver of Millbury; sons, Kenneth C. Barb Wolf of Oregon and Richard W. Lisa Wolf of Claremont, MN; 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren with four more on the way; siblings, Ralph Velma Vogelpohl of Curtice, Leonard Pat Vogelpohl of Genoa, and Carol St. John of Walbridge; and her sister-in-law, Letha Vogelpohl of Westerville, OH. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Roland and Frederick Vogelpohl, and sister, Miriam Vogelpohl. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Wednesday, July 4, 2012, and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2012, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, OH, with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Curtice. Following the graveside, the family will gather for luncheon and fellowship at St. Peter Lutheran Church Blackberry, 17877 W. St. Rt. 579, Martin, OH. Memorials for Audrey may be given to the general fund at St. Ignatius Catholic Church; the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 401 Tomahawk Dr., Maumee, OH 43537; or the American Heart Association, 1701 Woodlands Dr. Suite 200, Maumee, OH 43537.
