AUDREY JEAN POWERS Audrey Jean Powers, 85, of Perrysburg, OH died, Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in her home. She was born in Ypsilanti, MI on February 28, 1928 to Maurice and Jessie (Shepherd) Marsh and was married on September 9, 1950 to George R. Powers who preceded her in death in 2007. Audrey was a registered nurse working at Heartland of Perrysburg, the Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, OH and the Ursuline Center of Toledo. She was a member of both the Genoa Trinity United Methodist Church and the First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg, OH. Audrey was also a member of the Coterie Club in Genoa, the Maumee Elks, multiple bridge groups, many golf leagues and active in a variety of discussion book clubs. She is survived by her children: Diane M. (Clyde) McCauley of Perrysburg, OH, Jerry E. (Bonnie) Powers, Phoenix, AZ, Dan (Maureen) Powers, Kissimmee, FL, Tim A. (Beth) Powers, Newark, OH, and Jim G. (Jean) Powers, Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Joe Powers, Jon Powers, Joshua Powers, Andrea Powers, Jennifer Lau and Stephanie Lau, great-grandchildren, Eli Powers and Christian Powers; sister, Mary Jo (Ken) Butcher. Friends will be received from 4-8 P.M. on Friday, June 7, 2013 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH. Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Genoa Trinity United Methodist Church, 313 Main St., Genoa, OH where a Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Cheryl Matla officiating. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.
