Audrey L. Garber, 88, of Port Clinton, passed away, Thurs, July 07, 2011 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. Audrey was born on September 03, 1922 in Tennessee, the daughter of Fred and Aggie Ward Yankee. On January 19, 1949 in Port Clinton, she married Irving Garber and he preceded her in death on 1987. Audrey worked in sales at Leo Marks Jewelers and a hostess for Marina Del Isle. In her earlier years she loved bowling and later she loved playing cards at the Port Clinton Senior Center. She was a member of the Lady Moose, the American Legion and a life member of the Magruder Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include: Son: Michael Sharon Garber; Daughter: Michelle Jack Woods; Grandchildren: Adam Garber, Molly Yankee Garber, Brandon Becky Woods, Nicholas Allison Woods & Abram Woods. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 7 sisters. Burial will take place in Tennessee at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Audrey may be given to the Ottawa County 4H Club, Stein Hospice or to a charity of the donors choice. Special thanks to Rev.
