Audrey K. Fisher

Audrey K. Fisher, 90, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2008, at the Promedica Hospice Center. She was born in Toledo, OH on July 9, 1918 to Herbert and Florence Klute. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School and attended the University of Toledo where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. On Febraury 21, 1942, Audrey married Earl H. Fisher in Sacramento, CA. They shared 65 years of a happy, loving marriage. She and her late husband, Earl, spent many memorable winters in Florida. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending tine with family and friends. Both Earl and Audrey were avid golfers and belonged to Highland Meadows Golf Club since 1956. SHe was also a member of the Toledo Club and Hope Lutheran Church where she was a volunteer. She enjoyed playing bridge, dancing and participating in sporting activities. Her most cherished moments were spent with her grandchildren and she was affectionately known to them as Grams. The family will miss the loving spirit of Audrey. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Earl. She is survived by her daughter, Shari Don Kellermeyer; two grandchildren, Dr. Greg Kellermeyer, MD Liz, and Kris Kellermeyer/Caris Wade; and great-grandchild, Corbin Miles Kellermeyer. Her family wishes to thank the staffs at the Toledo Hospital, Elizabeth Scott Community, and Promedica Hospice Center for their many caring and comforting acts of kindness.
